TLDR: F is lame, M and W are same, P is the same as 35N minus language, be aware of IET restrictions if the mos has DLI in its pipeline requirements.35N SIGINT ANALYST for Army Reserve Element You could do that and later request to go to DLI if you want to take a language course, but at that point you'd be coming as a careerist instead of coming in IET status, which will occur if you come in as a Mike, Whiskey, or Papa. I personally wish I would have just gone as a 35N since its the same job as a 35p minus the language. 35p is pretty intimidating especially if you get a cat4+ language, since you will lose your bonus and get reclassed if you fail out, so be willing to tough it out. If you dont want to go to DLI after training at huachuca, You wont be allowed to reenlist after your initial contract (what those of us at DLI were told about mikes after we arrived). So 35m and 35w are the same job, just whiskey goes to dli before Huachuca, but 35m is transitioning to be a language dependent job. Do not answer n00b questions on the main boards.
